Biden’s State of the Union Speech, Optimism and Unity?

Last Tuesday night, Biden said to the nation in his own baffling and baffled way, grimacing, glaring, and growling, “As I stand here tonight, I have never been more optimistic about the future of America.” Last year, in his State of the Union speech, he said, “I’m more optimistic about America today than I’ve been my whole life.”

Many Americans look around through less milkshake-colored glasses and feel a tad less optimistic. What Is the source of Biden’s optimism? Is it the realization that the only way out of this pit into which he’s plunged America is up?

Maybe last year, someone somewhere in America was buoyed with hope by Biden’s claim that “We’re choking Russia’s access to technology that will sap its economic strength and weaken its military for years to come.”

But a year later and closer to home, many Americans feel dispirited by Biden continuing to choke America’s access to her own energy resources, thereby sapping America’s economic strength and weakening the capacity of Americans to prosper. And they see our military weakened by wokism, likely for years to come.

Maybe last year, someone’s optimism tank was filled by Biden’s gaseous threat to Russian leaders: “Russian oligarchs and the corrupt leaders who’ve bilked billions of dollars off this violent regime: No more. … We’re coming for your ill-begotten gains.”

But other Americans less easily dazzled by shiny red herrings are still wondering when our government will come for the ill-gotten gains of crime boss Joe “Bananas” Biden and his ne’er-do-well but exceedingly privileged son Hunter.

In this year’s speech of optimism, just before he referred to his “Unity Agenda,” Biden said, “Congress must restore the right the Supreme Court took away last year and codify Roe v. Wade to protect every woman’s constitutional right to choose. … Make no mistake; if Congress passes a national abortion ban, I will veto it.”

Ah, yes, like the flutter of butterfly wings or the trill of a songbird, the thought of tiny humans being dismembered fills the air with optimism and joy.

I suspect that baby-slaying thoughts do fill Senator Ed Markey (D-MA) and U.S. Representative Madeleine Dean (D-PA) with optimism. To the State of the Union speech, they wore pins from Planned Parenthood emblazoned with the word “ABORTION,” into which a tiny heart was placed, signifying their deep and abiding love for stopping the tiny hearts of tiny humans from beating.

Surely, someone in Biden’s cabal of caretakers knows that there is no constitutional right to hire humans to kill other humans. Since the now-overturned Roe v. Wade case was decided in 1973, scores of leftist legal scholars have condemned its shoddy, constitutionally untethered “reasoning.”

As he did last year, Biden again addressed another divisive issue—the Equality Act—which has nothing to do with equality and everything to do with using the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to ban public recognition of sex differences.

Biden urged, “Let’s also pass the bipartisan Equality Act to ensure LGBTQ Americans, especially transgender young people, can live with safety and dignity.”

Carved-up bodies maintained in an unnatural state via a lifetime of being pumped full of risky and experimental chemicals that produce sterility and weak bones constitute living “with safety and dignity” to leftists.

As Biden continues to use his power to lobby for the hormonal and surgical abuse of confused children, another movement is growing to expose and oppose this evil.

On Thursday, Feb. 9, self-identifying “queer” woman Jamie Reed wrote an article for the Free Press that caught the attention of Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO), who described it in Epoch Times as “a sickening account of forced sterilization and child abuse.”

Reed wrote this article to expose the ugly reality behind the benign appearance of Washington University’s pediatric “transgender” clinic, where she had worked as a case manager for four years. During her employment, she learned that gatekeeping is lax; serious side effects are dismissed, causal co-morbidities and environmental factors (e.g., abuse, family dysfunction, and social contagion) are disregarded, parental rights are ignored, and sex change regrets are swept under the lumpy rug in a mad rush to toss troubled children onto the speed rail to bodily dis-integration.

The Equality Act is a devious and powerful tool for imposing the socially constructed, metaphysical nonsense of the “trans” cult and robbing women of their athletic opportunities, privacy, and safety. It will also rob all theologically orthodox people of faith of their religious liberty.

Next, President Biden, who self-identifies as a unifier while exacerbating division, asserted that “We must finally hold social media companies accountable for the experiment they are running on our children for profit.”

What Biden neglected to mention is that social media are the primary tools used for “trans”-grooming from which members of the “Trans” Industrial Complex profit handsomely.

Similarly, last year out of one side of his mouth Biden fretted about the harm done to children by social media, and out of the other side of his mouth, he hissed with his forked tongue to “our younger transgender Americans” that he will “always have your back as your President, so you can be yourself and reach your God-given potential.”

God has given young girls and boys their respective sexes with the God-given potential to become women and men, mothers and fathers. It is the father of lies who is destroying that potential.

Our young people are suffering too from the fentanyl crisis. While Americans who have lost loved ones to the fentanyl scourge were heartened that this year Biden at least mentioned it, they were likely disappointed that his solution did not include shutting down the border through which this poison arrives:

Let’s launch a major surge to stop fentanyl production, sale, and trafficking, with more drug detection machines to inspect cargo and stop pills and powder at the border. Working with couriers like Fed Ex to inspect more packages for drugs. Strong penalties to crack down on fentanyl trafficking.

More drug detection machines, working with Fed Ex to inspect more packages, stronger penalties for fentanyl trafficking, but no commitment to shut down the border? C’mon, man.

Many Americans do not feel optimistic about the future of America when they see the president working harder to keep live babies out of the U.S. than he does to keep fentanyl out.

In a tricksy rhetorical appeal to most Americans’ respect for the rule of law, the president of the law-breaking party said, “We honor the results of our elections, not subvert the will of the people. We must uphold the rule of the law and restore trust in our institutions of democracy.”

Not one measly word about the election chicanery of social media platforms run by his voters that subverted the process Biden expects Americans to honor.

Tuesday night, Biden unintentionally provided a roadmap to a better future. It leads straight away from Democrat ideas.
