Can Americans Feel the Walls Closing in on Liberty Yet?

Can Americans feel the walls closing in on liberty yet? Can they hear the sound of leftists goose-stepping quietly toward them step by step in their Yeezys with forked tongues dripping with honeyed words about safety, compassion, and justice?

Well, to be clear, the walls are closing in on liberty for normies. Liberty for anarchists and sexual libertines is proliferating in unexpected ways that darken the public square and undermine human flourishing.

Following three days of rioting in Chicago by 1,000 young barbarians who engaged in lawless acts of thievery, property destruction, assault, and gun violence, Mayor-Elect Brandon Johnson said,

In no way do I condone the destructive activity we saw in the Loop and lakefront this weekend. It is unacceptable and has no place in our city. However, it is not constructive to demonize youth who have otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities.

“Our city must work together to create spaces for youth to gather safely and responsibly, under adult guidance and supervision, to ensure that every part of our city remains welcome for both residents and visitors.

No mention of the root cause of youth barbarism: broken, dysfunctional, fatherless families. Can’t say that. Wouldn’t be prudent for a leader of the political party that heartily endorses intrinsically dysfunctional, intentionally fatherless, and motherless family structures to demonize dysfunctional family structures. When it comes to buying votes, it’s far more prudent to demonize those who demonize lawlessness and the fatherlessness that causes it.

Johnson is kinda, sorta right. Youths desperately need spaces to gather safely and responsibly under adult guidance and supervision: Those spaces should be their homes, and the adults should be their moms and dads—one of each in every home—which would be better than a chicken in every pot and way better than pot in every kitchen. Leftist ideologies and policies that justify fatherlessness and lawlessness (and drug use) not only harm children but also undermine liberty.

On what basis has the far-leftist Johnson concluded that it “is not constructive” to demonize the baleful actions of teens and young adults? And what exactly constitutes “demonizing”?

Johnson was not the only Democrat making foolish statements following the riots. Democrat State Senator Robert Peters tweeted,

I would look at the behavior of young people as a political act and statement. It’s a mass protest against poverty and segregation.

Oh wow, my bad. I did not realize assaulting, robbing, and threatening to kill a young interracial couple was an act of protest against poverty and segregation. I thought getting a job, getting married, staying married, and following the Golden Rule were the best ways to end poverty and segregation.

Too bad these energetic activists weren’t around to anarcho-splain to Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. exactly how to achieve those social goals.

There is someone who embraces the anarcho-message and tactics of the Chicago Thousand. It’s a pretend woman who tweeted this threat to women who oppose the presence of cross-dressing men in women’s bathrooms:

If you back a wild animal into a corner, they’re going to become a dangerous animal. So, if you want to die on that hill of yours, of righteousness and moral majority, then you go right ahead. I dare you to try to stop me from going into a women’s bathroom. It will be the last mistake you ever make. I dare you to try to stop a transgender woman, in my presence, from using the bathroom. It will be the last step you ever make.

“This is a call to action and a call to arms to everybody within the United States that are scared, that are worried, that have children that are transgender, lesbian, bi, or gay. This is a call to action. You need to arm up, plain and simple. Go out. Buy a gun. Learn how to use it—efficiently, through and through—because the time to act is now. You need to protect yourself, and you need to protect your transgender brothers and sisters, theys and thems. You need to protect the rest of us in the LGBT community, as I’m going to do myself, because there are a lot of people like me who are not afraid to die. I love my girlfriends [by which he means his male cross-dressing friends] to death, but I would rather die for them to secure their safety, freedom, and future, than to live and not have anything done.

“So, you go ahead. You ‘protect’ [He sneers and uses air scare quotes when he says “protect”] your kids.

That’s what “liberty” looks like today: a man openly threatening to kill women who don’t want to share a bathroom with him. Will the FBI appear at his door at the crack of dawn with guns drawn to haul him off to jail as they did with the pro-life activist and father of seven, Mark Houck?

Someone better keep this cross-dresser away from four freshman girls at Sun Prairie East High School in Wisconsin. In March, an 18-year-old male student showered buck naked in the presence of these girls. As he entered the shower, he told the alarmed girls, "I'm trans, by the way." Yeah, that's the ticket—the golden ticket that gains exhibitionists, voyeurs, and predators entrance into their hunting grounds.

Then the young man unsheathed his male penis. The only good thing about this pernicious story is that the girls were wearing swimsuits.

Does the cross-dressing menace to society believe he’s justified in killing these girls and their parents for objecting to biological males in the girls’ shower?

If girls and women have a right to be free of the presence of boys/men in spaces where they undress or go to the bathroom, what difference should it make to those girls/women if boys/men wish they were women?

Women no longer have a right to sex-based private spaces—a right so obvious, commonsensical, and fundamental that our Founding Fathers would never have considered including it in the Bill of Rights.

This bellicose cross-dresser—who compares himself to an animal—has been emboldened by leftists who wrongly insist that respect and compassion require all of society to treat delusional fetishists as if they are the sex they are not and never will be. And leftists are using the law to rob men and women, boys and girls of their right to privacy.

Authorities still haven’t released the manifesto by Audrey Hale, the cross-dressing woman who murdered Christians at a private school in Nashville. “LGBT” organizations—including Log Cabin Republicans—oppose the release of the manifesto, citing laughable reasons.

Newsweek Magazine reported that Charles Moran, president of the subversive infiltrators called the Log Cabin Republicans, frets that the release of the manifesto would constitute “additional glorification of the shooter” that “could inspire others to take similar violent acts for attention.”

Similarly, executive director of Children of Lesbians and Gays Everywhere, Jordan Budd, argues that the manifesto “should not be published. … The focus should be on how this was able to happen in the first place. … Regardless of the shooter's intentions, the real issue here is the ease of access to deadly weapons."

And Laura McGinnis, spokesperson for Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays said that release of the manifesto “could increase the risk of contagion” while not changing “the outcome of the tragedy.’"

Are these three activists worried about copycat killings, or are they worried about bad PR for “trans”-cultism?

While law enforcement sits on the manifesto that likely makes the “trans” cult look even worse than it already does, crime boss Biden’s spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre, a member of the “LGBT” community, said this less than a week after the Nashville shooting:
