HB 2862 – New Employer requirements for Hiring Temporary Workers During a Strike or for 90 days or longer

This bill requires temporary staffing agencies to provide their temporary day laborers with knowledge about any strikes going on at the workplace the agency plans to send them to. It then requires that these employees be given the option to abstain from a work opportunity without experiencing any adverse effects because of this choice. The bill also sets other regulations that such agencies must conform to.  Requires temporary workers to have standard pay after 90 days of employment for same em[ployer.
