SB 1817 – Denies Landlord or Seller From Asking About Immigration Status

This bill makes it a civil rights violation for one to deny a person access to real estate or refuse to engage in real estate transactions with a person because of their immigration status. It also prohibits certain entities from discriminating against illegal immigrants when providing loan services to people.
