Should Republicans Lay Off the 'LGBTQ+' Stuff

Of the many infuriating things I hear these days, one of the most infuriating comes from Republicans who claim the GOP must stop talking about the “social issues,” especially anything pertaining to the “LGB” and “T” communities.

Republicans know not what they do when they welcome into the expanding GOP rainbow circus tent men and women who support the destruction of marriage, the acquisition of babies to be intentionally raised without mothers or fathers, the sexual integration of women’s private spaces, the eradication of girls and women’s sports, the Orwellian commandeering of language, and the usurpation of government schools for leftist propaganda.

When centrist or left-leaning Republicans command other Republicans to shut up about the radical political, social, moral, and educational propaganda efforts of the “LGB” and “T” activists and their collaborators, they—left-leaning Republicans—sow, water, and fertilize the seeds of America’s destruction.

Gnostics (version 2.0), pagans, libertines, solipsists, and other ideological regressives in cahoots with diverse profiteers are right now imposing their socially constructed anti-science, anti-human, and anti-God dogma on society. And as night follows day, First Amendment rights, parental rights, and children’s rights are eroding, thereby making America unfit for human flourishing.

Already, public schools and much of the public square have become unfit places for children during the entire month of June.

Thanks to the “LGB” and “T” communities, in public schools—including elementary schools--we now have the Transgender Day of Remembrance, the Day of Silence, and “Pride” Month. Public school curricula now affirm leftist beliefs about homosexuality and cross-sex impersonation.

Chaya Raichik, better known for her Libs of TikTok Twitter account, and Ian Miles Cheong, known for his @stillgray Twitter space, post video after video of teachers boasting that they use their teaching positions to inculcate other people’s children with leftist views of sexuality and gender and of “pride” events in elementary and middle schools in which teachers adorn themselves, their classrooms, and hallways with the accouterments of a shameful, controversial ideology.

Raichik, Cheong, and many others post videos of “pride” parades and “family-friendly” community events that include bare-buttocked men being spanked, queer adults selling colorful dildos, and creepy men singing explicit songs about homoerotic acts.

School boards and administrations are issuing un-constitutional speech mandates that require teachers to mis-sex students. If teachers refuse to capitulate to these compelled-speech orders, they’re fired.

Parents who object to books that include graphically obscene passages and images—primarily books about homosexual and cross-dressing adolescents—being available to their minor children are castigated as book banners. Meanwhile, leftist publishing companies, librarians, and teachers routinely ban conservative books knowing their book banning will never be exposed or castigated.

Anti-bullying programs have been co-opted by “LGB” and “T” activists and transformed into struggle sessions that convince children that if bullying makes homosexual students feel bad and hearing conservative moral beliefs makes them feel bad, then the expression of conservative moral beliefs is equivalent to bullying and must be silenced.

“Social and Emotional Learning” standards (SEL) have infiltrated all public schools and are used to promote leftist assumptions about sexuality and “gender” while stigmatizing conservative beliefs.

n defiance of science and rational social norms about sexual dimorphism and the meaning of sexual embodiment, the “LGB” and “T” communities have sexually integrated the bathrooms and locker rooms of minor children—something that no CEO of any corporation would tolerate for himself or herself.

Thanks to the “LGB” and “T” communities, sex education—once concerned with teaching students in sex-segregated classes about the birds, the bees, and STDs—now teaches children in co-ed classes that some women have penises and some men menstruate. Oh, and they teach them about the beauty of sodomy.

K-12 schools now host drag queen spectacles for students, sometimes with teachers performing as their alter ego drag queen personae.

Thanks to “LGB” and “T” activism, school personnel—that is, government employees—are deliberately concealing vital information from parents about their own children.

Homosexual activists, “trans”-cultists, and their collaborators ceaselessly describe their machinations as “age-appropriate,”—a term which seems to have a talismanic-like silencing effect on conservatives. But the words “age appropriate” have no meaning in the mouths of leftists. Leftist teachers now describe as “age-appropriate” materials that 60 years ago would have been wrapped in brown paper and purchased by weird men in trench coats who frequented seedy urban back-alley holes in the wall.

None of these activities constitutes or is based on ideological neutrality. Teaching children that homoerotic acts are morally equivalent to heterosexual acts is decidedly biased, partisan, and subjective.

None of these activities embodies respect for dissenting views. Respect for conservative views would entail leaving all leftist sexuality and gender dogma to families.

All of these activities are intended to revolutionize America—to deracinate all societal structures that promote “heteronormativity” and silence the expression of all ideas that made America a once-great nation.

Next time you hear a self-identifying Republican bossily command another Republican to stop talking about efforts to normalize sexual deviance, just imagine a Republican commanding others to “Lay off the business regulation talk,” or “Just shut up about taxes,” or “Clam up about illegal immigration.”

And then think about which of those issues has led to attacks on essential First Amendment protections.

Which of those issues erodes parental rights and children’s rights?

Which has destroyed marriage?

Which is eradicating women’s private spaces and sports?

Which is corrupting the medical and mental health communities?

Which has turned corporate America and the press against ordinary Americans—particularly Americans of faith?

Which has corrupted the military?

Which has poisoned public school curricula with corrosive ideas and images?

Which of those issues has resulted in ideological conformity requirements for fostering needy children?

Which of those issues has debased television and library programs for toddlers?

In the movie Moonstruck, Cher slaps Nicholas Cage and shouts, “Snap out of it!” That’s what I want to do whenever someone says, “lay off the ‘LGBT’ stuff.”
