If forty years ago, someone from the future had shown and described to Americans the clownish campaign of clown candidate Kamala Harris, they would not have believed it. She and her campaign would have been seen as a satire of a presidential campaign, too comically absurd to be a dystopian tale. But Harris’ signal achievement is that she has made a presidential campaign both comedic and dystopian.
Terrified to allow Harris to wander around untethered and speaking freely, her handlers kept her leash short until they felt compelled by political pressure to slacken her tether.
It’s doubtful that the reason her handlers have now, in the campaign home stretch, allowed Harris to venture out of isolation is a sense of ethical obligation to the people whose vote Kamala covets. If we know anything about Dems, it’s that they suffer a dearth of ethics.
In their Gollum-esque quest for power and under unbearable political pressure, Harris’ handlers allowed their candidate the freedom to enter a few select safe spaces. And yet, despite their efforts to ensure a rhetorical victory and escape public humiliation, Kamala snackled (i.e., snatched + cackled) up defeat from the celebrity jaws of victory.
For those who missed the remarkable recent events that her handlers would like the passage of time to unburden from her legacy, here are some lowlights from just three of her disastrous interviews: CBS’s 60 Minutes, The View, and shock jock Howard Stern’s podcast.
The 60 Minutes debacle displays both Harris’ rhetorical ineptitude impelled by her intellectual vacuity, and 60 Minutes ethical vacuity.
In between the airing of a teaser for the segment with Harris and the airing of the full (wink wink) segment, 60 Minutes evidently realized the inanity of her answer and modified it.
Harris was asked to comment on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s refusal to kowtow to the pro-Hamas sympathies of the Harris/Biden administration. In the teaser, an obviously nervous Harris reached for her salad tongs, and this is what tumbled haltingly into the bowl:
Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of, uh, many things including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.
The Internet blew up, mocking Harris whom Democrats desperately want to see as commander in chief of the armed services of the most powerful country in the world.
When the segment aired, however, this was Harris’ response, still devoid of substance but delivered more fluently and with fewer words:
We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.
CBS—a propaganda arm of the DNC—scrubbed as clean as they could the response of their pick for November’s presidential election because their pick’s response was too idiotic to air. This is just one of the reasons Republicans doubt the fairness of elections.
Harris also spent time with the viragoes on The View, where Joy Behar began by saying, “First, let me say that I like candidates who show up for interviews,” implying preposterously that Donald Trump doesn’t show up for interviews. While Trump sits down with even hostile outlets, Kamala Harris has tried “with all her might, her eyes shut tight” to avoid any interviews.
During this rhetorical massage, Harris asserted that “we have to agree about the sanctity of the oath we take to defend the Constitution of the United States.” No word about her boss’s refusal “to take Care that” our immigration “Laws be faithfully executed.”
In another moment of irony that insults the intelligence of Americans, Harris said,
I think people are exhausted … with the lies. They’re exhausted with the selfishness. They’re exhausted with the attempt to divide us as Americans. And they’re ready to turn the page and chart a new way forward.
She’s right: Americans are exhausted. But Harris is the new way forward? As the entire world knows and JD Vance reminded Tim Walz repeatedly during their debate, Harris been in office for three and a half interminable years of suffering and national decline.
Since Harris brought up lying , selfishness, and divisiveness …
Surely, Harris knows that Americans know she has been lying to the them about Biden’s cognitive disabilities for years, that she has been lying about the economy, and that she has been lying about the border crisis.
Americans haven’t forgotten that the Harris/Biden administration have fought like the devil’s minions to defend the selfish influence-peddling schemes of Biden and his corrupt family.
And Americans know that Harris, Biden, Obama, and their legions of “progressive” apparatchiks remain the drivers of division by promoting racism masquerading as “antiracism” and by promoting “trans”-cultism, which includes Harris’ desire to use taxpayer funds to turn male prisoners and illegal immigrants into eunuchs.
The View’s faux conservative Alyssa Farah asked Harris why American voters believe the Harris/Biden administration “waited too long” to “address the border crisis.”
As is her custom, Harris did not answer the question. Instead, she once again boasted irrelevantly that she has “personally prosecuted criminals for the trafficking of drugs, guns, and human beings” and has “taken on the cartels and prosecuted the cartels.”
The question Farah asked was not about whether Harris had prosecuted drug, gun, or human trafficking cases in California over seven years ago. The question Farah asked was regarding the Harris/Biden administration’s disastrous failure in the past three and a half years to address the border crisis they created.
View host Sunny Hostin asked Harris if there is anything she would “have done … differently than President Biden in the past four years.” Harris gave a howler of an answer.
While admitting that she “was part of most of the decisions that have had impact,” she said, “There is nothing that comes to mind.” Her eye-popping response says nothing about how she is the change candidate but says everything about her mind: There’s nothing in it.
Note that Harris used just the unqualified word “impact.” She did not say the decisions on which she and Biden colluded had a positive impact. She said merely that their decisions have had an impact. Can’t disagree with that statement. Harris and Biden’s decisions have inarguably “impacted” Americans.
And then there was Harris’ interview with the infamous Howard Stern. The hypocrisy of leftists is nowhere more apparent than in Harris’ appearance with the chauvinist shock jock Howard Stern, who made a career on exploiting, objectifying, and humiliating women in spectacularly vulgar ways.
To use leftist rhetoric, Stern is a privileged, white, male, heterosexual oppressor with a long, public history of degrading women on his radio program, and yet the opportunistic feminist Harris has no compunction about appearing on his podcast. Why? Because Howard Stern endorsed her.
Stern asked this substantive policy question that plagues the minds of ordinary Americans: “If [Trump] wins, God forbid, would you feel safe in this country? Would you stay in this country?”
Stern believes Harris, who supported the defund the police movement, opened wide the border floodgates to criminals, cheered the 2020 Summer of Love riots, and encouraged Americans to bail violent rioters out of jail, will make America safer?
For those blessed never to have heard Stern during his shockiest jocky days, here are just three sickening samples of the kinds of things the depraved mind of this father of three girls produced well into his forties:
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen … are the two kids from Full House. They’re the two little girls from Full House. Now they’re like thirteen, and they’re pieces of ass!
The day after the Columbine High School massacre, Stern said on-air,
“There was, like, really good-looking girls running out of there with their hands over their heads. Did those [shooters] try to have sex with any of the good-looking girls? They didn’t even do that. At least if you’re going to go kill yourself and kill all the kids, like, why wouldn’t you have some sex?”
In a 1993 video circulating on social media, Stern in blackface did a bit that included the “n” word nineteen times and included a “joke” the punch line of which was that what he liked most about Whoopi Goldberg was her “black hole.”
Stern claims he now regrets some of the things he has said, but imagine if a conservative celebrity had said these things in the 1990’s and now expressed regret. Would wokesters forgive and forget? Would social justice warriors, “antiracists,” and feminists accept with equanimity an appearance by JD Vance on his podcast?
That Democrats have in Kamala Harris a diversity candidate fully unfit for office is the fitting capstone to the decades-long leftist social and political project to destroy America from within.
