Just when you think a Kamala Harris campaign event has reached the nadir of bad campaign events, Harris reaches deep into her bag of ineptitude, dishonesty, and moral evil to produce even worse events. Cases in point: Her weekend rallies in Houston and Kalamazoo.
The big, eagerly anticipated gun was Beyoncé who was introduced by her sister Kelly Rowland wearing a giant men’s zoot suit. Rowland spent her two minutes of theatrics angrily promoting kindness and community.
Then entered the queen herself. For those who just woke up from a long coma, Beyoncé is a pop singer married to a man rumored to be an even worse abuser than his good buddy P. Diddy, a man recently arrested for gross abuses of women, men, boys, and girls.
Here’s a bit of what Beyoncé was given to say:
Vice President Kamala Harris. A woman who’s been pushing for what this country really needs right now: unity. It’s impossible not to feel the energy in this room, the positivity, the community, the humanity. We are at the precipice of an incredible shift. The brink of history. … I’m not here as a celebrity. … I’m here as a mother. A mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all of our children live in. A world where we have the freedom to control our bodies. A world where we’re not divided. Our past, our present, our future merge to meet us here. … It’s time for America to sing a new song. Our voices sing a song of unity. They sing a song of dignity and opportunity.
Ah yes, the mellifluous new song of dignity and unity—not to mention joy: “Kill the unborn! Trans the children, prisoners, and illegals! And use taxpayer money to pay for it all!”
Who wrote this purple prose: “precipice of an incredible shift” and “our past, our present, our future merge to meet us”? My guess is a Hollywood writer high on ayahuasca.
Beyoncé was there solely because she’s a celebrity. If Beyoncé weren’t a celebrity, if she were a mere mortal, she wouldn’t have been on that stage flacking for Kamala.
Beyoncé then introduced Harris who may have shocked even the atrophying consciences of Democrats. Why? Because Harris spent her entire time—27 interminable minutes—in a state of fury that the people in some states are voting to offer protections for preborn humans.
The joyful unifier Harris wants preborn humans to have no protection. Harris wants women to have the unilateral, absolute, unfettered right to decide if other humans—tiny vulnerable humans with their own DNA and developing bodies—are allowed to exist. And that is apparently the only issue about which Harris feels passion.
Harris said nothing about fixing the border; nothing about fixing the economy; nothing about fixing schools; nothing about getting rid of laws legalizing theft; nothing about energy independence; nothing about the geopolitical mess she and Biden (and Obama) have facilitated. Just fury about limitations on the legal right to exterminate the unborn, which Harris equated to the fight of blacks for freedom.
Houston attendees, some who waited up to twelve hours because the press had reported that Beyoncé would “perform,” booed Harris when Beyoncé spoke inanities for two minutes and then sashayed off the stage. Once again, Harris failed to deliver.
The next day in Michigan, Harris brought in former First Lady of Haughtily-Shaming-Americans-Into-Thinking-Just-Like-Her, Michelle Obama, to revisit her husband’s attack on men who may be considering not voting for Kamala. Michelle put a different—more emotional—spin on the shaming ploy.
Following a heart-wrenching hypothetical story about a wife shivering and bleeding out while an infection rages through her body after a delivery gone bad, Michelle asked men,
Are you as men prepared to look into the eyes of the women and the children you love and tell them that you supported this assault on our safety?
She was suggesting that obstetricians would be stymied in their efforts to save this hypothetical mother’s life if Trump were elected. This, my friends, is demagoguery at its worst, intended to foment fear and guilt.
With this ploy, Obama had the audacity to ask men to vote for the woman who supports the slaughter of men’s children, including over 500,000 girls in 2023.
Obama had the audacity also to suggest that it is Trump rather than Kamala—who heartily supports the bodily mutilation of children and the sexual integration of girls’ and women’s private spaces—that poses a risk to the safety of girls and women.
How about Michelle and Harris hire a Hollywood writer to compose a similarly graphic description of the dismemberment of a human at 21 weeks gestation. Last year, approximately 10,370 humans were dismembered after 20 weeks gestation according to liberal websites. How many women died as a result of doctors standing paralyzed as they bled out?
Obama thinks Americans care that she lies “awake at night wondering what in the world is going on.” Obama can’t believe the race is close because she—the almighty, omniscient Michelle—knows with utter certainty “that by every measure [Harris] has demonstrated that she’s ready.”
Millions of Americans have been lying awake too for four long years, worrying about how they’re going to buy groceries and pay rent. They’re worried about crime that has been incentivized by defunding police, opening the border, and legalizing theft. They’re worried about schools promoting leftist sex and gender ideologies, sexually integrating their children’s restrooms, and secretly facilitating the cross-sex confusion of their children. But these millions of Americans don’t lie awake in luxury homes in Martha’s Vineyard, D.C., and Oahu.
What measures is Michelle using to conclude Harris is ready? In every interview, Kamala recites almost verbatim the same script written for her, no matter how irrelevant to the question posed. No one knows what policies she will pursue or what principles undergird those policies.
In a passage from Obama’s portrait of a super-heroine, Obama fibbed,
[Harris is] putting herself out there fearlessly facing down even her harshest critics. She’s seeking out Republicans to find common ground. And unlike her opponent, she’s not ducking interviews or cowering in safe spaces only with fawning audiences. No, she’s showing us what a sane, stable leader looks like. She’s not losing her train of thought or stumbling over her words. And she’s doing it all with vigor and with grace.
After spending two months shrieking that Trump is Hitler, Trump is a fascist, Trump is a dictator; after saying that Trump will put the very lives of women at risk; after saying that Trump threatens the very existence of our republic, Kamala said with no hint of irony,
We are fighting for America’s future, and we understand the opportunity we have before us to turn the page on the fear.
While Harris steadfastly maintains her Cheshire cat grin, all the faux-joy is gone. What Americans see is desperation, fear, dishonesty, and incompetence.
