The biggest story of the week would not have been a story at all if Renee Good had respected and obeyed the law. These activists who think they are advancing justice, democracy, and human rights are doing the opposite.
For what other situation would Renee Good intentionally drive to the scene of police action, taunt and obstruct law enforcement, and weaponize her vehicle against uniformed armed officers of the federal government?
Did she protest when Minnesota teenagers Hallie Helgeson and Brady Heiling were killed by an illegal alien driving drunk?
Did she protest when Somali residents ripped off taxpayers of billions of dollars?
Did she find time to protest the arrest of a Chinese illegal alien recently caught photographing a U.S. military base?
Where does this mentality come from? Here’s where we need some really great social sciences to research the genesis of such psychosis and belief systems. America has seen protests before. We have seen the violence of the Left from folks like rich Illinois kids Bill Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn, who literally were implicated in numerous bombings, including that of federal offices.
The anti-ICE protests are of a different nature, though. It isn’t a small group of radicalized rich kids who had the luxury to do evil. This is more of a mass movement of sophist indoctrinated folks thinking they are “warriors,” as Renee Good was described by a friend from the progressive school their children attend.
They aren’t warriors. There is nothing heroic about what they are doing. They are not fighting decades of government repression like the actual freedom protesters in Iran. As has been widely reported, many of these protesters are paid operatives. They have been indoctrinated by Leftist propaganda fermented by Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and baked into their psyche by their hatred of Trump and conservatives. They hate Donald Trump. They hate Trump’s transformational second-term policies – DOGE, One Big Beautiful Bill, Deportation, America First.
But Why? They don’t know. Their actions defy logic. What grown adults risk their lives, persistently scream at ICE agents doing their job to take criminal illegals off the street, in the middle of the work day, with children to take care of, when they know their actions will make no difference?
This looks, feels, and sounds like a cult, a gang, or a combination of the two. What we are seeing is not progress. It’s regressive, and I predict Americans will reject these tactics and shut them down.

(The Center Square) – Nearly a billion federal taxpayer dollars for child care and family assistance programs are being withheld from the state of Illinois.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced it would freeze $10 billion from five states. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Wednesday said their goal is clear.
“The Department of Health and Human Services has also begun requiring a justification and photo evidence for all child care-related payments nationwide,” Leavitt said.
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker said all told, approximately $1 billion could be impacted for the Land of Lincoln. Pritzker said the freeze is “wrong, it is cruel,” and the state will take every step possible to defend those impacted.
HHS Deputy Secretary Jim O’Neill said that should be easy.
“We’re not trying to slow things down, we’re not slowing things down, we’re just saying ‘when states send us a funding request for a legitimate program,’ we’re going to start saying ‘just show us some receipts,’” O’Neill told The Center Square….read more.
