Another Week of Losses for “Trans” Tyranny

For those who have been battling the absurd, Gnostic, anti-science “trans” superstition, there was news this week both welcome and frustrating.

First, there was a lawsuit won by a normal person who stood like David against the “trans” Goliath.

Indiana high school music teacher John Kluge sued his former employer, Brownsburg High School, over its ultimatum that he must either use the incorrect pronouns and names of cross-sex identifying students or be fired.

Kluge argued that the district had an obligation to accommodate his sincerely held religious belief that using incorrect pronouns and names constitutes “encouraging” so-called “gender transitions.” Kluge won a $650K settlement. A few more costly lawsuit losses and maybe trannies (and their slavish disciples) will stop demanding that everyone mis-sex them.

Just days later, the International Olympic Committee banned cross-dressing male fetishists from participating in women’s Olympic events. So, no more girly-ish men in drag and chemically constructed skin costumes will be pummeling ladies into the ground. Fairness and sex equity have been restored, at least in the Olympics.

But perhaps the most tectonic of cultural events was the admission by a former head of GLAAD, which stood for the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation until trannies hopped aboard. Now it’s still GLAAD but the acronym no longer stands for anything.

The confession that should have rocked the nation is that the former CEO of GLAAD, Herndon Graddick, said in a recent podcast that medically “transing” minors has been terribly wrong, arguing that “we need to correct what’s wrong first. … particularly the medicalization of children.”

He continued:

Teenagers and kids should not be given the power to make these life-altering decisions that medicalization causes. … [W]e should completely stop doing anything that might harm children, even if it [means we admit] that we got something really wrong, and my understanding is that we have.

Faux-married, homosexual writer Ben Appel, who was also interviewed on this podcast, shared Graddick’s revelations in his Substack newsletter.

Appel also shared who was instrumental in GLAAD’s shift into demonizing everyone who expressed concern about the medical “transing” of minors. The woman responsible for that is Sarah Kate Ellis, the lesbian who replaced Graddick as the CEO of GLAAD and has run the organization since 2014.

Despite mounting evidence to the contrary, Ellis, according to Appel, still believes that the medical “transing” of minors is “finished business”:

It’s politicians and junk science who’s creating some kind of debate or argument about this. … It is not a debate. We are actually looking at the single source of truth, and they are creating a conversation that doesn’t exist. It’s deeply rooted transphobia. That’s what it is, at the end of the day.

What, pray tell, is this “single source of truth” to which Ellis is referring? Christians know it sure ain’t God.

Christians also know that Ellis is wrong. It is a debate. It’s always been a debate. Leftists like Ellis and the nefarious organization she runs have worked like the devil to shut down the debate, but they couldn’t shut it down completely. The truth will always out.

Maybe Ellis, with her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and minor in women’s studies, should sit down with some scientists and physicians with no financial stake in “transing” kids to discuss the “junk science” that is leading physicians and hospitals all over the developed world to cease blocking puberty and doping teens with cross-sex hormones.

Ellis evidently has little concern for the welfare of children. She and her “wife,” Kristen Henderson, conceived children with the sperm of the same anonymous donor on the same day, so they could fulfill their desires to be mothers while refusing the kind of relationship that the single Source of Truth ordains for the creation of human life. To heck with the desires, needs, and rights of the son and daughter Ellis and Henderson created to be intentionally fatherless.

Appel, who has been critical of “trans”-cultism for at least four years, confesses to being afraid of the “considerable financial, political, and cultural power” of GLAAD, which apparently has money to burn:

A 2024 New York Times investigation revealed the organization’s “lavish spending,” especially when it comes to Ellis, whose contract allows her to earn up to $1.3 million per year, including bonuses. The Times article begins with Ellis being chauffeured in a Mercedes to “the Tivoli Lodge, a seven-bedroom chalet that cost nearly half a million dollars to rent for the week,” where she and her colleagues stayed during the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The personal commodity necessary to uproot evil is in far too short supply: courage. It is fear that has allowed “trans”-cultism to become systemic and institutionalized. But those days are ending.

To leftists, the “identities” of people—including small, ideologically malleable, still-maturing people—are constituted by their subjective, mutable, error-prone, and sin-shaped feelings and by stereotypical conventions that leftists once told us are arbitrary, socially constructed, and meaningless.

Little tomboys are now told their tomboyishness is a sign that they are really metaphysical boys trapped in a girl meat suit. And fearful boys who prefer the less-threatening company of little girls are now told they are, in reality, girls.

In the unholy pursuit of normalizing dysfunction and deviance, intellectual consistency and truth are but inconvenient obstacles to be o’erleaped through threats and propaganda.

Don’t mistake my appreciation for homosexual Ben Appel’s criticism of the destructiveness of the “trans” cult for approval of his faux-marriage to another man or of homosexuality in general. I am a theologically orthodox—small “o”—Christian who believes what the Bible teaches about homosexuality and marriage.

Ben Appel’s co-belligerency on the scandalous medical abuse of children in the service of false beliefs does not make him an ally of conservatives on culturally essential issues related to homosexuality. It is as necessary for the proper functioning of society to get sexuality, marriage, and family right as it is to get “gender” right.

Graddick said what conservatives have been saying for years and been vilified for saying:

[T]here’s been a lot of fear about discussing things openly for fear of being called transphobic, and I think that we’re at a place that we can really have those conversations without that fear. And certainly transphobia has nothing to do with my motivation to say this, but more like, you know, let’s just get our side of the street totally clean.

I have been writing about the calamitous effects of “trans”-cultism on the lives of children and their families for almost twenty years. I was never motivated by “transphobia.” Hurling epithets like “transphobe” to silence debate is a weapon of leftists that works because of cowardice.

I take no pleasure in saying to Graddick, “I told you so.” I take no pleasure in it because what he has said is too little too late for detransitioners like Chloe Cole, Keira Bell, and Ritchie Herron—all of whom have been permanently damaged by “trans”-cultism.

Now let’s see how leftist journalists and Hollywood celebrities, who all lemming-like have been celebrating the “transing” of children for years, slither out of this moral sticky wicket without damaging their oversized egos and inflated reputations. I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for apologies.
