Despite a scathing Auditor General report, no one has been held accountable yet. Pritzker’s response to the report is to shrug it off. Other states had fraud, too. But like everything else, Illinois’ fraud is worse. Pritzker’s policies compounded the fraud by keeping workers at home and off the job longer and keeping enhanced payments in place when other states refused to.
