On Tuesday, the FBI thwarted a terrorist attack planned for New Year’s Eve 2025 when agents arrested 29-year-old former New Iberia, Louisiana police officer and Marine veteran Micah James Legnon, a man who now pretends to be a woman, on his way to Baton Rouge, LA with a car full of body armor and guns. Surprise, surprise, Legnon wants to be incarcerated with women.
Legnon and four accomplices, who had been arrested in the Mojave Desert testing out bombs the day before, had plans for terrorist attacks in both Southern California and Louisiana, including against ICE. The accomplices, all Californians, are Audrey Illeene Carroll, 30; Zachary Aaron Page, 32; Dante Gaffield, 24; and Tina Lai, 41.
Their thwarted plans reveal the confluence of leftist ideas long percolating and spreading in our malignant Ivory Towers: Legnon identifies as “trans,” and he and his accomplices are reportedly part of a “far-left, pro-Palestine, anti-government and anti-capitalist group” called the Turtle Island Liberation Front that seeks “liberation through decolonization tribal sovereignty.”
“Pro-Palestine,” “anti-capitalist,” “decolonization,” “anti-government,” “tribal sovereignty,” and “transgender”—leftist jargon embodying false and destructive ideas that if left unopposed will result, not in liberation, but in anarchy followed by oppression—real oppression—not the imaginary oppression socially constructed by leftist snowbabies.
Nature, including human nature, abhors a vacuum. If Americans aren’t vigilant, into the vacuum created when policies, laws, institutions, and social conventions that restrain evil are “deconstructed” will rush first anarchy, and then authoritarian overlords who will come bearing promises (or threats) that they will reestablish order. But it will be a new political order devoid of fundamental freedoms, like speech, religion, and gun rights.
We the people have been funding our own destruction through our universities and, subsequently, our elementary, middle, and high schools. We built a deadly behemothic bureaucracy that we can’t control.
Our homegrown anti-social anarchists have drunk deeply the dregs of leftist ideology which poured out of universities and into every corner of American life. How else to explain the bizarre phenomenon of fetishistic cross-dressers and homosexuals aligning themselves with pro-Palestinian/pro-Hamas (i.e., antisemitic) Muslims who would likely kill them as soon as they—crossdressers and homosexuals—have served the radical Muslim goals of destroying America and globalizing the Intifada.
As Richard Weaver wrote in 1948, ideas have consequences. And boy, oh, boy have there been consequences from the lies promulgated by leftists.
They have taught two generations of students that America is a uniquely evil country; that from its inception it has only subjugated and brutalized other cultures; that colorless people—which oddly includes Jewish people—are everywhere oppressors, and colorful people are everywhere oppressed; that capitalism enriches the few while impoverishing the many; and that men can become women through the creative force of their own desires and imaginations.
A riot-pocked summer of love; celebrations of criminals; attempted presidential assassinations; a “successful” assassination of a free-speech hero; destruction of monuments; decriminalization of theft, hatred of, attacks on, and interference with law enforcement; open borders and sanctuary cities; drag queen story hours; pro-homosexual propaganda everywhere including in our kindergartens and military; mass shootings from coast to coast—these are the fruits of leftism systemically embedded in our “educational” institutions.
And still leftist poison continues to flow from academia and sicken America.
Recently, students at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois and Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park, Illinois, inspired by Charlie Kirk’s commitment to dialogue with those who hold dissenting ideas, were met with fierce and ugly opposition.
They were opposed and threatened by those who hate not only Charlie Kirk but also everything for which he bravely stood: free speech; the free exercise of religion; capitalism, which has done more to lift more people out of poverty than any other economic system in the history of the world; our Constitution, our history; marriage; sexual continence; and the beauty of sexual embodiment as male and female.
Anarchists, wannabe-tyrants, and anti-Christian bigots don’t want those ideas debated anywhere, not even in a voluntary extracurricular club.
At Olivet Nazarene, anti-freedom tyrants threatened the lives of the president and vice president of the TPUSA chapter. The first anonymous message sent to the TPUSA student president via Instagram said, “I’m gonna find you in Chapman and slit your thröat in your sleep …”
At Carl Sandburg High Schools, “antiTP” bigots posted on social media multiple messages that reveal what tolerance and diversity mean to leftists and their pro-Palestinian co-belligerents.
One of the posts was a photo of Charlie Kirk at the moment the bullet hit his neck.
Another post said,
Wear your flag on Dec. 10 to show you don’t support Club America. I’m actually happy that Charlie Kirk died-fuck ass American club for what whoever made that YOUR NECK should be the one who also should be killed “make America great again’ my ass. Mind you black people and poc [persons of color] are joining ts btw. Get a fucking life.
Another said, “Anyone who joins this IS FUCKIN DISGUSTING …”
The anti-TPUSA group in Orland Park, which comes in number two in a Wikipedia list of the top ten cities in the country with the highest percentage of Palestinians, was also selling merchandise with the proceeds going to a “Gaza Relief Fund.”
Great job, leftist teachers. This is the ugliness you have cultivated through your decades of indoctrinating other people’s children with your ignorant ideas on race, sexuality, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Leftists in their insular, sullied towers have spawned the ideologies that are destroying individual lives and the body politic. If colleges, universities, and government schools can’t be decontaminated, parents should ensure their children are educated elsewhere.
