U.S. Representative from Texas, Jasmine Crockett is justifiably in the hotseat for sponsoring a bill to deny President Trump his Secret Service security detail. Now sixteen members of the Texas Legislature and eleven Republican nominees have signed a letter demanding her resignation. In response to State Rep. Brian Harrison, one of the letter’s signatories, who posted the demand letter on X, Crockett posted this arrogant, childish, and barely comprehensible response:
Oh the evil & illogical who don’t even serve on my level believe they have sway or authority over me (insert white privilege).
While I’ve been out of the country on official business, these losers have been looking for Twitter clout.
But I’ll be gracious because I’m sure half of you aren’t able to logically follow or comprehend this level of thinking as “good, fiscally responsible” people who believe in “Law & Order,” I’ll help you out.
As a sitting member of congress we don’t even get secret service protection so why should taxpayers foot the bill for someone who a jury of his/her peers has deemed guilty of a felony or in this case 34 of ‘em, if they are sentenced to time. The prison is full of officers not to mention, why should we make an entire team of public servants have to go to prison, too?!
If Martha Stewart could survive, I’m not sure why y’all are so scared that your Orange Savior couldn’t or is it that you want to admit that women are stronger than many of you, including him?
I mean what type of men go after women anyway, oh Republicans… the next time you think it’s a great idea to talk to me; don’t. And… If y’all think your ideas or opinions matter to my district, go work against me to get me kicked out of office… I dare you to go knock doors in my district and cry a river to my constituents and see how it works out for you
Let’s break down some of the parts that are comprehensible.
- She arrogantly refers to state reps. and those running for office as not on her “level.” What kind of elitist excrement is that? Has she forgotten that she is a public servant? As such, she’s not above state reps. And I hope she realizes, as public servant, she is below the constituents she serves.
- She demonstrates her own ugly racism by accusing others—without evidence—that their criticism of her dangerous and ignorant effort to remove President Trump’s Security detail is somehow related to “white privilege.” Enquiring minds would like Crockett to explain how criticism of her legislative actions constitutes a sign of “white privilege.” Is it Crockett’s contention that no white person is permitted to criticize the things she does and says? If so, she’s definitely a racist.
- She demonstrates how childish she is by resorting to school yard taunts, e.g., “these losers,” “Orange Savior” (So much for toning down the rhetoric).
- She imputes motives to her critics—without evidence, i.e., “these losers have been looking for Twitter clout.”
- While her party created the border mess thereby costing cities exorbitant amounts of money and making cities more dangerous, and while her party bailed BLM criminals out of jail, she thinks providing President Trump protection constitutes fiscal responsibility and commitment to law and order. Unbelievable.
- She attempted to pass a bill that would apply just to President Trump, who is a “convicted felon” only because Democrats—including a bigoted judge—conducted a wildly unjust trial with convoluted judicial machinations that have been shredded by well-respected legal scholars. And now she seeks to use Democrat abuse of the judicial system as a means to leave a former president and current candidate for president at risk for assassination.
- And last but definitely not least, as she reclines on her fainting couch, she pulls out the distinctly un-feminist, “what type of men go after women anyway, oh Republicans.” Maybe she’s too young to know about the Kennedy brothers JFK, Bobby, and Ted “Lady Killer” Kennedy. Boy, oh boy, did those three go after women. As I remember, Bill Clinton went after quite a few women too.
The 43-year-old Crockett has a curious past that some intrepid reporters ought to investigate. She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and has said she never encountered any racism growing up, which speaks well of how far the nation had come since the 1950s.
But then, according to Crockett, things took a turn when she was attending undergraduate school at liberal Rhodes College in Tennessee where she attended from 1999-2003.
She alleges she and other black students were victims of multiple hate crimes. Those crimes included, “racist slurs and hate mail that were put in her and 17 other students’ campus mailboxes … using letters cut from newspapers and magazines” as well as “vandalism of vehicles.”
Tom Pappert, writing for the Tennessee Star just two months ago, has tried valiantly to get to the bottom of the story but has been unsuccessful in finding any corroborating evidence.
He contacted Crockett’s spokesperson, Rhodes College, and the Cochran Law Firm that Crockett alleges Rhodes hired to deal with the hate crimes. Four years ago, not even Crockett could identify the name of the female attorney who she described as her “shero” in an interview:
[Rhodes College] brought in The Cochran Firm, and the lawyer that helped me became my instant “shero.”
At that time, I was helpless and confused. She was able to calm me and walk me through the legal process. … it was empowering to have her there. …
That was my junior year. … Later, I attended law school at the University of Houston, which is where the lawyer who helped me went.
Weird, but no one knows nuttin’ about nuttin.’
This story deserves to be investigated, and if someone should take on this mission, he or she should also look into the law firm Crockett founded. All her promo materials emphasize that it was a civil rights law firm and deemphasizes almost into oblivion that it was also a personal injury law firm. It would be interesting to learn more details about the cases Crockett and her firm handled.
Just remember, if you unearth anything Crockett doesn’t like, she will pull out every leftist arrow from her quiver. So, I recommend finding a gay, trans person of color to investigate Crockett’s tales.
