Democrats are once again trying to snooker American voters–both legal and illegal. But polling suggests Americans are wise to the wily ways of Democrats. Recent campaign-related shenanigans are exposing both leftist desperation and ineptitude, none more so than Kamala Harris’ shocking trainwreck of an interview with Fox News’s congenial Bret Baier.
Her interview made it even clearer why her handlers have been keeping her locked up. Many Americans assumed the reason her campaign allowed her to engage with only leftists was that she lacks rhetorical skills and sufficient knowledge about her own policies. Oh, and then there is her unnerving cackle.
Americans learned last night that there’s yet another reason to keep Kamala in a hermetically sealed panic room. She’s angry and contentious.
No matter what question Baier asked, she unskillfully evaded answering it, insisting instead on repeating the same script she’s repeated in every prior interview, but this time she hissed her responses through bared teeth. She didn’t come across as presidential and authoritative. She came across as combative and rude. The only thing she managed to control was her cackling. Not one cackle in the 26 minute-interview—an interview for which Baier said she was late.
No wonder her staff members keep leaving.
But that’s not the only event that reveals what a disaster the Harris/Walz ticket is.
Last Thursday, Oct. 10, Harris’ team recruited her puppeteer Barack Obama to chastise black men for their failure to kowtow to the Harris/Obama wishes.
If the left can’t persuade voters to support Harris, they’ll shame them into submission.
In Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood, the elitist, paternalistic Obama scolded black men for not supporting Harris. Since he couldn’t rationally accuse them of racism, he opted for misogyny, saying,
You’re coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses, I’ve got a problem with that. Because part of it makes me think—and I’m speaking to men directly—part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.
Let’s hope black men couldn’t care less what Obama thinks about their voting choices.
On Sunday, Oct. 13, JD Vance went mano a mano against ABC News leftist apparatchik Martha Raddatz. Raddatz’s anti-Vance bias was dripping from her frothy mouth as she rudely cut him off repeatedly when she disliked his answers.
Raddatz asked Vance if he agreed with Trump’s claim that Aurora, Colorado “has been invaded and conquered” by Venezuelan gangs—a claim the Republican mayor of Aurora has called a “gross exaggeration.” Raddatz reductively described the capture of apartments by lawless Venezuelan gangs as a “handful of problems.”
In response, an incredulous Vance said what every decent person should say to such a claim:
Do you hear yourself? “Only a handful” of apartment complexes were taken over by Venezuelan gangs? And Donald Trump is the problem—not Kamala Harris’ open border?
Americans are so fed up with what’s going on, and they have every right to be. I really find this exchange, Martha, sort of interesting because you seem to be more focused with nitpicking everything Donald Trump has said, rather than acknowledging that apartment complexes in the United States of America are being taken over by violent gangs.
On September 5, 2024, CBS reported something of which Raddatz seems unaware:
A Denver law firm, hired to look into an alleged gang takeover of an Aurora apartment building, says they found the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang began taking over the Whispering Pines Apartments in late 2023. Since then, the gang has engaged in violent assaults, threats of murder, extortion, strongarm tactics, and child prostitution as they have exerted a “stranglehold” on the Aurora apartment complex. That’s according to a letter sent to Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman, Aurora City Manager Jason Batchelor, and the interim police chief that was obtained by CBS News Colorado.
Those apartments are people’s homes. Imagine if the homes of bigwig public figures, say, Martha Raddatz, Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and Nancy Pelosi were forcibly taken over by violent gangs of Venezuelan illegals. Would Raddatz obsess about the diction of Trump when describing such violent lawlessness?
Next up, on Monday, Oct. 14, the New York Times leaps to rationalize Harris’ plagiarism.
Earlier in the day on Monday, Christopher Rufo exposed that Harris’ co-written 2009 book Smart on Crime: A Career Prosecutor’s Plan to Make Us Safer, there are over a dozen plagiarized passages. Evidently, Harris has learned a thing or two from her senile boss.
That very same day, apparently in a panic, the New York Times scrounged up a plagiarism “consultant”—Jonathan Bailey—to review just five of the plagiarized passages. Surprise, surprise, Bailey opined no foul, no harm:
This amount of plagiarism amounts to an error and not an intent to defraud,” [Bailey] said, adding that Mr. Rufo had taken relatively minor citation mistakes in a large amount of text and tried to “make a big deal of it.”
The New York Times defended the plagiarism, arguing that the “passages … involve about 500 words in the approximately 65,000-word, 200-page book.”
Hey, kids, when you decide to plagiarize, just make sure you’ve got the right proportion of plagiarized to original words.
Harris’ plagiarism is part of a pattern of dishonesty common to Democrat movers and shakers, like Obama, Biden, Walz, and fleet-of-foot Hillary, who infamously ran like the wind to escape heavy sniper fire in Bosnia.
Next up on this week’s list of campaign fails took place on Monday, October 14 when Harris tried to woo black men with her characteristic dazzling rhetoric.
In a video released on Monday of Roland Martin’s interview with Harris, Harris veered cosmically off-course, saying,
I talked with somebody once who said, ‘You know, if you just look at, where the stars are in the sky. Don’t look [at] ’em as just random things, if you just look at ’em as points. Look at the constellation—what does it show you?’
Kamala, Timothy Leary called from the grave. He wants his acid back.
This is who Democrats want to sit down for serious confabs with world leaders in a time of heightened global tension.
Finally, just before Harris’ trainwreck interview with Baier, she held a campaign event in Pennsylvania. The Washington Times reported that in Bucks County, PA, Harris was going to “showcase 100 anti-Trump Republicans at campaign event”—including Adam Kinzinger, the erstwhile Jan.6 committee member, erstwhile congressman, erstwhile Illinoisan, and presumably a soon-to-be erstwhile Republican.
Now, that was great news because Republicans want to know exactly who the quislings are.
Kamala’s campaign announced that she would be issuing a “broad call for unity,” urging “Republicans of good conscience” to join her. Nothing says “unity” quite like turncoats supporting a rage-filled candidate. And nothing says “good conscience” quite like supporting the woman who has lied to Americans for four long years about her boss’s dementia.
