Another mentally ill, cross-sex identifying man has committed another act of violence. Armed with a hammer, William D. DeFoor, 26, who recently began calling himself “Julia,” smashed windows in Vice President J.D. Vance’s Cincinnati home just one day after Vance and his family had returned to Washington D.C. DeFoor, whose father is a pediatric urologist and his mother a pediatrician, has had at least two previous run-ins with the law. According to Newsweek,
DeFoor was arrested in 2023 for trespassing at UC Health’s Psychiatric Emergency Services Building but was found not competent to stand trial and had the charges dismissed. … He was also arrested in 2024 on two counts of vandalism but was granted treatment in lieu of conviction.
Other than recently adopting the online persona “Julia,” little seems to be known at this point about DeFoor’s gender issues. What is well-known among experts is that there has been an explosion in the number of young people identifying as “trans” in the last decade, driven, many believe, by social media, aided and abetted by leftist academicians that use their platforms to spread their poisonous views. No matter to them that their beliefs are based on nothing real or that real children are being harmed by them.
This attack on the home of J.D. Vance came on the heels of a video taken last May that just days ago went viral. It’s a video of the shadow of a self-proclaimed “transwoman” vigorously stroking “her” penis in the stall in a California Planet Fitness women’s locker room.
According to the young woman who shot the video, the “transwoman” was doing his weird thing for a surprisingly long time. Alternatively, I suppose he could have been doing his weird thing multiple times. Either way, this was a gross injustice perpetrated against girls and women by the pervert and by the inactions of Planet Fitness employees.
Moreoever, every man and woman who refuses to speak truth about “transcultism” or worse who endorses “transcultic” superstitions is complicit in the damage done to girls, boys, women, and men by this idiocy.
Well over a decade ago, in the face of opposition to men invading women’s private spaces, cross-dressers and their collaborators repeatedly asked this absurd question: “Are we now going to have genital police to examine every person who enters bathrooms and locker rooms?”
My response was, “Are we going to have ‘gender’ police to determine whether the person seeking access to women’s private spaces is actually ‘trans’ or instead a predator masquerading as ‘trans’ to more easily access his prey?”
Of course, not even fraudulent drivers licenses and birth certificates should permit biological men—also known as “men”—to access the privates spaces (or sports) of women.
Same goes for cross-dressing women. Boys and men too have a right to be free of the presence of girls and women in their bathrooms and locker rooms. While predation by cross-dressing women is not a concern for men, modesty when undressing in spaces shared with strangers is. Decent men do not want to urinate or undress in the presence of strange women (no pun intended).
Leftists, hellbent on eradicating all social taboos related to sexuality, are downright gleeful at the notion of eradicating modesty. Hence, their relentless efforts to pass laws allowing female toplessness in every space where men are free to be topless.
Hence, the nude dressing favored by Hollywood actresses like exhibitionist Sydney Sweeney who seems oddly obsessed with her own breasts. A recent headline declared that nude dressing is moving into arse-crack exposure.
If, as “transcultists” and their collaborators declare, breasts have no connection to femaleness, penises have no connection to maleness, and bodies have no intrinsic meaning whatsoever, then public decency laws make no rational sense. We’re all just meaninglessly differentiated accidental blobs of fleshy stuff.
But that raises other questions about meaning. If the objective material stuff of which we’re made has no meaning, how can subjective, immaterial “feelings” have any meaning? How can socially constructed beliefs about maleness and femaleness have any meaning or burden folx who find those beliefs evil with behavioral obligations?
How can the arguable, socially constructed claim of “transcultists” that respect requires everyone to pretend they are the sex they aren’t be morally binding on others? Perhaps respect demands others treat reality as real.
It’s cruel to promote an ideology that prevents mentally ill people from getting proper help—the kind of help that offers them a chance at a better life. But the evil committed by “trans”-cultists is even worse.
Their socially constructed pernicious ideology convinces children, teens, and young adults that their confusion is health and that those who disagree are evil, thereby providing gender dysphoria sufferers a justification for violence.
Once again leftists in thrall to sexual deviance abuse social “science” to convince a gullible, ignorant, complacent, and cowardly public to genuflect to the idols of perverse appetite. Those they can’t get to genuflect to drag queens and autogynephiles, leftists will try to coerce into self-censorship.
Unfortunately for the deviants and deceivers among us, they can’t silence everyone. Nor can they swath their pseudoscientism forever in a cloak of respectability. The truth will out.
Just as the truth about children raised by homosexuals has finally been revealed (surprise, surprise, they don’t fare nearly as well as children raised by their moms and dads)—the truth about “trans”-cultism is finally being revealed after years of lousy social “science” research convinced leftist First World elites that humans can be born in the wrong body—whatever the heck that means.
Those elite leftists, ensconced as they’ve been in institutions of influence, power, and privilege for decades, then imposed those preordained pseudoscientific “findings” on the great unwashed deplorables, indoctrinating their children, systemically institutionalizing false ideas, and inflicting on Americans policies and laws that violate science and decency.
Now after years of being told that “science proves” that criticism of “trans”-cultic nonsense is born of bigotry and hatred and causes mentally healthy young people to commit suicide, the entire “trans” foundation is crumbling.
In Jan. 2023, an article titled “The Myth of ‘Reliable Research’ in Pediatric Gender Medicine: A critical evaluation of the Dutch Studies—and research that has followed concluded that,
Two Dutch studies formed the foundation and the best available evidence for the practice of youth medical gender transition. We demonstrate that this work is methodologically flawed and should have never been used in medical settings as justification to scale this “innovative clinical practice.”
In 2024, England’s National Health Service hired Dr. Hilary Cass, former president of England’s Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, to conduct a review of 53 studies on the use of cross-sex hormones for the treatment of gender dysphoria in adolescents. She found,
[a]ll but one study, which looked at side-effects, were rated of moderate or low quality, with the researchers finding limited evidence for the impact of such hormones on trans adolescents with respect to outcomes, including gender dysphoria and body satisfaction.
Then in April 2025, a study titled “Examining gender-specific mental health risks after gender-affirming surgery: a national database study” was published. This was a meta-analysis of 107,000 adults 18 years and older. The study concluded that,
those undergoing surgery were at significantly higher risk for depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and substance use disorders than those without surgery.
Meanwhile, leftists will keep riding their “trans” hobby horse as furiously as the Planet Fitness onanist manually exercised, even if that means dooming more troubled young people to a life of suffering.
