Trying to make it look like recent credit upgrades are something good for the state of Illinois, Gov. Pritzker’s campaign ads are flooding the airwaves, claiming that they are “saving millions for taxpayers”.
In reality (something he has a hard time grasping), those upgrades actually COST TAXPAYERS BILLIONS in higher taxes. Pritzker and his Supermajority Democrat Party have done nothing to rein in obscene spending, nor have they shown any other attempt at fiscal reform. Their answer to everything is MORE TAXES, and they continue to pursue that goal spectacularly.

Despite the upgrades, Illinois’ credit ratings remain the worst of all the states!
