The “trans” travesty will not end until enough people say “enough.” On Tuesday, October 13, a dozen girls on a high school cross country team in Washington state quietly and clearly said “enough.”
When the starting pistol rang out for the Women’s Elite 5K, scores of runners took off, but thirteen girls walked off the field in a principled protest of the inclusion of a boy, Logan Mihailoff, in their race.
On September 5, Mr. Mihailoff, a junior at Camas High School, was a runner on the boys JV team where he finished an unimpressive 76th in a boys JV 5K race. On September 29, just after switching to the girls team, Mr. Mihailoff came in first in a girls varsity 5K race. If he had run on the boys team where he belonged, he would have placed 28th.
Then in the meet on Oct. 13, he came in 2nd in the girls varsity 5K race. If he had run on the boys team, he would have placed 29th.
This was the second protest of Mr. Mihailoff’s participation in girls running events. The first took place on September 15, when two girls from an opposing team walked off the course. On October 13, all thirteen protestors—half the girls team—were from the team that Mr. Mihailoff is invading.
Leftists are either too ignorant or too short-sighted to realize that if they exploit non-discrimination policies in order to allow biological boys and men into women’s sports and private spaces, they will effectively eradicate the categories of male and female in public life. Or maybe the eradication of all public recognition of sex differences is exactly what leftists want.
If a school permits biologically male George who pretends to be “transgirl” Autumn to participate in girls sports and use girls bathrooms and locker rooms citing non-discrimination policies as their rationalization, then there is no legal way to prevent biologically male Joe, a “cisboy,” (i.e., a normal boy) from participating in girls sports or using girls locker rooms and bathrooms.
The school can’t say to Joe, “You can’t do those things, because you’re male.” That would be discriminating based on sex. In addition, they’ve already allowed another biological male to do those things.
And they can’t tell Joe, “You can’t do those things, because you’re not trans.” That would be discrimination based on his gender identity—i.e., his “cisgender” identity.
Goodbye all sex-based spaces and activities for everyone everywhere.
It’s astounding that in this age when people claim to value science that such a bizarre, anti-science, anti-rational superstition could take root. As society has moved deeper into an anti-God—who is love—worldview, the vacuum left is being filled with ideas that have the appearance of love without the substance.
A perverse counterfeit of love has possessed the minds and hearts of many, convincing them that love is the affirmation of any and all powerful, persistent, seemingly intractable feelings. This counterfeit love, or “toxic empathy,” is wholly severed from moral absolutes, boundaries, and even objective reality. This counterfeit love is, in reality, false, destructive, and ugly.
A relatively new podcast demonstrates why we now have the tragic spectacle of teen girls being compelled to contend for their rights, basic fairness, privacy, and their own safety.
The podcast titled Phallacies is hosted by two men in their forties: Dashiell Wolf and Charlie Dixon. In their introductory podcast, they said, “We’re not here to tear people down. We are here to build better thinking.”
Further, they claimed, “We’re taking the beliefs that dominate the discourse about men and manhood … and we’re going to subject those things to a rigorous logical examination.” As it turns out, logic is not their forte.
Their episode titled “Men in Women’s Bathrooms,” provides a sample of their people-uplifting, better-built thinking. In this episode, they debate the sexual integration of women’s bathrooms. While both men believe crossdressing men should be able to use women’s spaces, for purposes of their faux-debate Wolf adopts the conservative position and Dixon adopts the leftist position. Here’s Dixon’s pro-integration argument. See if you can find the much improved thinking:
Transwomen have been using women’s restrooms and still do for the most part, unless they’re in some crazy fuck-ass backward state where they could literally get a felony by going into the wrong restroom and having some fucking maga loser out them, uh because their religious proclivities and feeling unsafe.
What about [transwomen’s] feelings?
You know, everything you’ve told me about the conservative viewpoint is about your fucking feelings, about your feelings of being unsafe, in spite of zero data that backs that up.
Yet you want to reject the feelings of the trans person who may have been born with a penis but feels deep in her core that she is a woman. …
As a white cis man, it is nice to have those very simple truths for simple-minded people who can’t understand how somebody who’s different from them might have different feelings and might have different needs. …
I guess maybe the Christian-ass maga losers who just can’t fucking handle it can go, you know, use the family restroom or whatever.
Those are the people who should have special restrooms, the people who are so afraid of fake bullshit that they just can’t bring themselves to interact like a normal human being.
Calling people “crazy, fuck-ass backward,” “fucking maga losers,” “simple-minded,” and “Chistian-ass maga losers” sounds remarkably like tearing people down.
Feelings—even deep core feelings—no more make a man a woman than did ghostly white Rachel Dolezal’s deep core feelings make her black.
Women’s feelings about bathrooms and sports matter more than “Caitlyn” Jenner’s feelings about using women’s bathrooms because women’s feelings emerge from and are tethered to objective reality.
Dixon then claimed that all the “gender identities” that were recognized by superstitious pagan cultures “went away when they were colonized by white people, the white male obsession, white cis male obsession with two genders.”
But the debate over men in women’s bathrooms and sports has nothing to do with “gender,” as leftists use the term. Gender is constituted by one’ subjective feelings about maleness or femaleness. The debate, however, is about objective, immutable biological sex.
Women don’t care about the “gender” or “gender identity” of those in their bathrooms or sports. They care about the sex of the persons in their private spaces and sports. I couldn’t care less if “Elliot” Page enters the locker room that I’m using. I care if “Caitlyn” Jenner does.
I’m sure if a biological girl in Washington state decides this week that she’s a boy, shaves her head, and starts wearing boys briefs, the girls on the cross country team would be happy to welcome her.
Nowhere in Wolf and Dixon’s fake debate did either man address the fundamental issue, which is not predation. The real possibility of predation when males are allowed in the privates spaces of females is a critical issue, but it is not the foundational issue.
The foundational issue of whether men should be permitted in women’s private spaces pertains to whether sexed bodies matter. Does embodiment as male or female have any meaning?
Countless people across the world and throughout history have believed and continue to believe that physical embodiment as male or female has deep meaning and is the source of feelings of modesty and the desire for privacy when undressing or engaging in intimate bodily acts.
It is the strenuous and sustained efforts of leftists to undermine natural and good feelings and beliefs about sexual embodiment that have led people to support the unnatural eradication of public recognition of sex differences. Indoctrination and intimidation work.
Leftist indoctrination and epithet-hurling have resulted in people being shamed into concealing their intrinsic desire to be free of the presence of opposite-sex persons in their private spaces. In other words, leftists have socially constructed and imposed a new and perverse taboo.
And now minor girls are being forced to defend their own natural rights. What kind of craven society leaves teenage girls to fight for their rights?
