Gov. Pritzker and his cronies want Illinoisans to become so desperate for income that they see gambling as a way out of living under the oppressive and failing economic policies of the Democrat Party.
They don’t care about the well-being of ordinary citizens- they just want money and control for themselves.
Illinois bettors lost more money than ever last year, while state coffers collected a record $2.7 BILLION. It was a 19.2% increase from the previous year and marks a 90% increase from 2019, when Pritzker and his toadies took control of and approved a massive gambling expansion that was supposedly aimed at raising capital for ‘infrastructure’. (Quick Hit from last month: the Illinois Tollway just raised your rates to suck in even more money for ‘infrastructure’.) Apparently, the massive gambling scam isn’t picking up the tab for ‘infrastructure’.
Meanwhile, U.S. District Judge Martha Pacold has temporarily paused Illinois from enforcing restrictions against Kalshi and Coinbase for “predictive” activities related to sports wagering, stopping Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul from trying to control yet another aspect of gambling in the state:
