Violence Prevention Grants Aren’t Stopping Violence.
As Chicago reels from a violent Labor Day weekend—10 killed and 50 wounded—Governor Pritzker and Mayor Johnson continue to demand more federal money instead of real solutions. Johnson dismissed the idea of stronger enforcement, posting “If the federal government wants to help, they should invest, not invade,” while his city already received over $100 million in “violence prevention” grants last year and millions more in 2025. Where has that money gone? The FY2026 budget includes tens of millions more for the same programs, funneled to politically connected NGOs with little accountability. Taxpayers are footing the bill, crime remains rampant, and now lawsuits over alleged misconduct threaten to drain hundreds of millions more

The Real Bugs That Emerged in IL are CTU Members
Bottomline Upfront—Below is a fairly detailed explanation of the lies that were told 7 years ago about the EBF model to fund schools. The Frank DiFranco Election Case
Republican Frank DiFranco sued the Democratic Cook County Clerk over the results of his 2020 judicial race, and the Clerk produced electronic images of 8,186 Mail-In Ballot (“MIB”) envelopes containing fields that were not properly filled out – yet the ballots inside were still “counted” in violation of election laws. The shocking part of this story is that the Clerk attempted to redact, or black out, the blank envelope fields to hide the invalidity of MIBs.

Democrats, Stop Complaining,You Voted For This
Literally, Liberals are getting mugged by reality – all policy choices made decades ago and then codified by legislation in Springfield and on the Chicago city council, and it’s hitting them hard. On full display are the ramifications of Democrat’s bold and open defiance of federal laws, later supported by then-Governor Republican Rauner to affect the entire state with his signing of sanctuary state status in 2017

Your Money, Your Freedom, and Your Future
This state is a haven for progressive ideology which has accelerated under the Pritzker regime, and as you will see in some of the items I highlight in this newsletter, that ideology is ubiquitous from Chicago to small towns.
