Illinois Leftists Want to Shut Down Crisis Pregnancy Centers
Leftist lawmakers in Illinois continue to prove to Illinoisans and the nation what a blight they are on the American landscape. It’s not enough for Illinois’ leftist lawmakers to pass a malignant law ensuring mothers can have their offspring slaughtered throughout the entire nine months of gestation for any or no reason. Now, Illinois lawmakers want to shut down every crisis pregnancy center that helps persuade women to let the tiny humans growing in their wombs live. What is worse is that as of this writing, all the sponsors of two identical anti-baby/anti-woman bills are women—Democrat women.

A Tale of Two Governors
On President’s Day last Monday, I had the privilege to be a part of Governor DeSantis’ visit to Elmhurst for his Back the Blue three-city tour. The event was a closed, by-invitation-only event with the focus on inviting law enforcement officers. The few of us authorized to share the invitation with others were specifically told not to share it over social media or in an email. It was inevitable that the invitation was going to get leaked. When it did, on Thursday before the event, the vitriol from members of the Democrat party, including Governor Pritzker, truly showed them as the bullies they are.

Leftist Mandating CRT Reading List
Leftists in Springfield are still not done using public schools to preach “woke” beliefs to Illinois school children, thereby driving more families out of Illinois—which is a bad thing for Illinoisans who can’t leave—and driving more families out of government schools—which is a good thing except for those who can’t leave.

Yes, an amendment to the “Equitable Restrooms Act” is back thanks, ironically, to a woman—at least I think State Representative Katie Stuart (D-Collinsville) is a woman. It’s hard to tell these days.
Stuart has resurrected a moribund amendment to the Equitable Restrooms Act, which was passed in 2019 and took effect January 1, 2020. But before we get to Stuart’s pernicious amendment, some background about the Equitable Restrooms Act is in order.

Who’s the Real Carnival Barker?
Gov. Pritzker has a bad habit of calling people who point out failures of public policy in Illinois “Carnival Barkers.” This would have to include every major newspaper, state, and national think tank, and the state’s own Committee on Government Forecasting and Accountability. But, what really is a Carnival Barker? It’s someone trying to sell you a chance at a game that is rigged or a sideshow that is deceptive. I think that term, Carnival Barker, more aptly fits Governor Pritzker, especially after the speech he gave on Wednesday.

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker proves again that he is an inveterate leftist—far leftist—hell-bent on using public money and public schools to advance his far-left theories on race and sexuality. Pritzker’s newest educational goal is to “queer” public high schools by forcing the College Board’s new Advanced Placement African American Studies (APAAS) course to include the “role played by black queer African Americans.”

Middle School Sells T-Shirt That Quotes Communist
For Black History Month, the devotees of critical race theory at Wheaton, Illinois’ Edison Middle School are offering a new divisive t-shirt for kids to buy for $20 that features a quote from lesbian feminist, the notorious Communist Angela Davis, supporter of cult leader Jim Jones and of brutally repressive Communist regimes in the 1960’s and beyond.
